Discovery Travel Group was established in 2014 by two entrepreneurs who have extensive practical experience in the travel industry as well as high academic degrees.
Dr. Mohamed Badawi, who holds a bachelor’s degree in tourism guidance, and extensive practical experience in group leadership which gained him an extensive insight into Egyptian archaeology and heritage, supplemented by a doctoral degree in Heritage and Museum Sciences.
Pilot Ahmed Shady, who is well-versed in aviation and hospitality, and brings extensive experience in leadership, which provides him with valuable insights into operational excellence and customer satisfaction, complemented by a deep cultural understanding.
Together, they have built a passionate, specialized team while maintaining momentum and an entrepreneurial spirit.
